  • CBCT may be accepted if its use is justified
  • Follow-up radiographs should be taken using the same incidence as the initial ones. For cases with apical pathology, follow-ups at 12 and 24 months that show healing will earn a higher score

Updated to the competition rules

To ensure a fair competition and an optimal experience for all participants, we have updated the rules for the 4th edition of the gala. Here are the key changes compared to last year:

We invite you to review the full rules.

New Categories in the Competition – We are expanding the competition to recognize excellence across a broader range of specializations. Starting with this edition, we are introducing two new categories:

  • Orthodontic Treatment

  • Periodontal Treatment

Standardized Format for Submission – Cases must be presented in the form of a “case report,” accompanied by high-quality photographic documentation and a detailed description, in both Romanian and English, not exceeding 3,500 words.

📌 Important: Since at least one jury member is international each year, all submitted cases must also be available in English. You may upload two PDF files (one in Romanian and one in English, or a single bilingual PDF – Romanian + English).

Case Submission Packages – If a participant purchases a package allowing the submission of multiple cases (e.g., 2 or 3 cases), they will receive a single ticket for access to the awards gala. However, if each case is submitted separately at full price, each submission will generate an individual ticket, with a maximum of 3 cases per doctor.

Finalist Presentations – During the event, each finalist will have a maximum of 2 minutes to present their case. Optionally, they may include a voiceover of up to 1 minute within their presentation.

Limited Number of Cases per Author – Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 cases in the competition, provided that these cases are distinct and meet the specific criteria of each selected category.
